Pork Loin with Coca Cola BBQ Sauce

Trimmed pork loins kicked up with cajun spice, brown sugar, grilled to perfection, and smothered in bbq sauce.


  • 2 1-lb trimmed pork loins
  • 1 tbsp garlic salt
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Spice
  • 3 tbsps Olive oil
  • 1 tbsp fine brown sugar
Coca-Cola Bbq Sauce

  • 2 tbsp canola oil 
  • 3 tbsp diced jalapeño
  • 2 tbsp diced garlic
  • 3 cups ketchup
  • 1/4 cup chicken stock
  • 1 cup orange juice
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 1/4 cup Coca-Cola
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tsp garlic salt

Cooking Steps

  1. Start by seasoning the pork really well all over with the garlic salt, Cajun spice, and the brown sugar. Then using your hand, pat the pork with the oil.
  2. On the grill or grill pan and medium heat cook for 8 to 12 minutes, rotating every couple of minutes.
  3. After the pork is five minutes from done, add the barbecue sauce and rotate so that the sauce sticks. Remove, slice, and serve with sauce.
  4. Coca-Cola Bbq Sauce In large saucepan add the oil, heat the oil just a little and add the garlic, shallots, jalapeño; sauté for 2 minutes, then add the remaining ingredients. Mix well and bring to a low simmer until sauce is combined.
